A.D. BOLM HOUSE

This home was built by Hugo Kuehne Sr. in 1929 in the Old Enfield area of Austin for Mr. & Mrs. A.D. Bolm. Bolm was a rancher that later founded Austin Laundry and Dry Cleaners and he became quite successful. This home features carved oak beams, mantle and a carved dwarf in bas relief on the chimney in Austin limestone all carved by Peter Mansbendel. The home also features Weigl ironwork.
